Next year's PV Taiwan 2010 builds upon the glowing success of PV Taiwan 2009 that coupled the strengths of TAITRA and SEMI to link the industry and bridge the world market. And even greater numbers are projected after the last show drew more than 10,000 visitors to expand turnout by 65% on the previous year. Next October's event goes even more global after the 2009 event proved its pulling power with an audience from more than 50 countries, including Germany, the USA, Japan, Australia, Mexico, Singapore, India, Thailand, and China.

All systems are go for 2010, especially with news of landmark U.S. energy policies coming into place and buyer turnout growing 58% at last October's PV Taiwan to reach 1,421 foreign buyers. All this has placed PV Taiwan on a firm footing to establish itself as Asia's largest and best event in PV.

▌Orders flood in at the show

The PV Taiwan 2009 exhibition was the largest PV event ever held in Taiwan. International visitors soared 52% to use 500 booths (a 67 % rise on the previous year). That global turn-out bolds well for the coming show. With 236 leading companies from the entire supply chain, Taiwan PV industry has become the brightest sourcing platform with orders at the 2010 show projected to reach hundreds of millions of dollars.
